Maria Elena Bello was born on April 18, 1967. She is an American actor and producer. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). Bello was a star on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well with other prominent roles, like Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath, and Jacqueline Sloane, Special Agent on NCIS between 2017 and 2021. Bello was born on 18 April, 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Her field of study was in political science at Villanova University. Bello trained her acting skills in several New York theater productions following graduation. Bello is mother to Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. In November 2013 Bello wrote about having a same-sex relationship with her then-partner, Clare Munn. She published a book entitled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the Labels we Give Ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28 and 29, 2015).
